1: The Following Classifications get assigned the following Size Classes:

BB: 2
DN: 2
BCH: 3
CC: 3
CA: 3
CL: 3
DD: 4
FF: 4
EC: 4

2: Hull Index x 10 = Hull Boxes, sometimes add 1-4 more boxes to round out the design

2A: Consult the Table to get the Movement Cost, Turn Mode and Breakdown:*

*Klingons and Orions get an improved +1 Turn Mode

BB: 2 (G) (2-6)
DN: 1.5 (E) (3-6)
BCH: 1.25 (D) (5-6)
CC: 1 (C) (5-6)
CA: 1 (C) (5-6)
CL: .67 or .75 (C) (4-6)
DD: .5 (B) (5-6)
FF: .33 (B) (6)
EC: .25 (A) (6)

2B: Math Hull Index by the Following to get the following System Types:

Control Spaces: Round down (if decimal is .5 or lower), or Round up (if decimal is .6 or higher), Modified Hull Index = each
Control Box Type (separate count for each type, Emer, and sometimes Flag tend to get a further -1)
Lab: Round down/up, then multiply by 2, 4 for Federation or for Survey Cruisers
Tran: Round down/up, then multiply by 1.5, 2 for Klingon or for Assault Ships
Trac: Round down/up, then that is your number f Tractor Beams
Shtl: 6 (Size 2), 4 (Size 3), 2 (Size 4) x number of visible Shuttlebays, Klingons and old series Romulans get half
Hold: 8 (Size 2), 6 (Size 3), 2 (Size 4), adjust by +1/-1, +2/-2 for Romulans
Cargo (For Warships): Hull Index, Round down/up, then multiply by 2, 3 for resupply ships
Cargo (For Freighters): Hull Index, Round down/up, then multiply by 24, then multiply again and consult the Size Chart below:

2: x1.1

4: x0.8

2C: For Shields, multiply Shield Rating by x4, x5 for 2X or higher ships, and then spread the resultant shields around the ship.
For an example, the Enterprise CA's shields are 40/32/32/32/32/32, multiplying the Shield Rating of 52.3 by 4 = 209.2,
spread em'around... we reach it's true strength, and have 9.2 left over. For Reinforcement? Or raise shields to 42/34/34/33/33/33?

3: Divide Crew by 10 to get Crew Units. Troops divided by 2 plus 1-4 gets Boarding Parties.

4: For Weapons:

1 Phaser = 1 Ph-1 or 1 Ph-X
1 Disruptor = 1 Ph-X or 1 Disruptor-40 (Size 2), Disruptor-30 (Size 3), Disruptor-22 (FF, DD), or Disruptor-15 (EC)
1 Rapid-Fire Phaser = 1 Ph-G
1 Photon Torpedo = 1 Phtn
1 Heavy Photon Torpedo = 1 HPhtn
2 Heavy Plasma Torpedoes = 1 Pl-R
2 Medium Plasma Torpedoes = 1 Pl-S or Pl-M
1 Light Plasma Torpedo = 1 Pl-F or Pl-L, 2 may convert to 1 Pl-G
1 Gorn Plasma Torpedo = 1 Pl-G, Pl-S or Pl-E
1 Assault Phaser = 1 Ph-4
1 FMPA Cannon = 1 Hellbore
1 GDDS = 1 ESG
1 Sha'Kurien Missile = 1 Drone Rack B or C

5: For T-Bombs, Ships get 8 Standard, 8 Dummy (BB), 6 Standard, 6 Dummy (DN), 4 Standard, 4 Dummy (Size 3), 3 S, 3 D (DD),
2 S, 2 D (FF, Large Freighters), 1 S, 1 D (EC, Small Freighters)
