Hey Gang

I am so glad to find a forum for SFB outside of the ADB one. I hate Discus with a passion, and after reading both here and there, it seems like its getting pretty unfriendly over there anyway.

Either way, I live in Southern Illinois. I want to play some, but can't find players who are willing to put the card crack away and try a real game. So if you know anyone down around this area, point'em my way. I promise, I'm so rusty at this, they'll probably stand a pretty good chance of winning.

Tolenmar

Where in Southern IL? Also, helps if I know your real name for telling someone to contact you. (I've got a friend/demo minion in Carbondale who might be willing to give SFB or Fed Com a try; you may also get asked to try Squadron Strike in return)

"Yeah, give this number a call and ask for tolenmar". :)

Welcome Tolenmar

Unfortunately I don't know any players in S Illinois, but it's good to see yet another semi-retired SFB player back in the game.

Uhhh...Ooops

Sorry, my real name is Chris Rebman. Though calling and asking for Tolen might well work, my family is well aware of my handle.

I'm in Herrin, not too far from C'dale (I used to live there and grew up in Murphysboro). Email would be the best way to go for now, though. tolenmar @ yahoo.com ought to work.

Welcome Tolenmar part II

I don't live anywhere near Illinois, but welcome anyways!

Thanks Rush, yeah I expected

Thanks Rush, yeah I expected to hear a lot of 'I don't live round there" kinda posts, since the SWA is in New York...

But then, you never know til you try.

St. Louis

Chris,

I live in St. Louis but have not played in some time. I do occasionally play some other things and there are local cons. How far are you from STL? 3 hours or so?

Ken

Depending on the route you

Depending on the route you take, yeah. We can make the trip in less than 2 hours on occasion, but my normal work schedule keeps me from being able to just pack up and take off for the day.

And...

Check out SFBOL. A great way to play in the absence of face to face opponents.
