Hmm. The archives of those RATs are all vaporized now, so is there a clever way to fill in the holes? Maybe Schirmer has the records still.

Actually many of those trees still exist, you just have to know where to look for them. If you go to the SFBOL web site and pull up a current RAT tree, then change the last part of the URL to reflect the one you are looking for, example:
http://www.sfbonline.com/show_results.jsp?tournament=ra09q2
is the current RAT
Change the 09q2 at the end to 05q3 and you get the tree from 2005 3rd quarter RAT. They are not all accessible this way, but many are.
