In case anyone is wondering... We know that many online forums/BBSs use an engine something like PhPBB. You will see thousands of BBSs with that kind of look-and-feel around the internet.
We are going with this Drupal Forum module becuase it is secure, easy to maintain, and it is seamlessly integrated with the Drupal engine that this web site is built upon; the same engine that our larger SWA site runs on as well.
The integration lets us do cool things very easily, like having the running lists on the right side, like the five most recent forum topics, and the ten most recent comments to those topics.
We know it's a little different than what you're probably used to, and we hope it works out fine for everyone involved.
Thanks.
